Sold-Out Crowds and Perfect Weather Fuel Flagler County Pro Rodeo
BUNNELL, Fla. – Blue skies, comfortable evening temperatures and a packed grandstand set the stage for the Flagler County Pro Rodeo, which sold out both nights, Sept. 25 and 26, at the Flagler County Fairgrounds.
The fifth annual PRCA-sanctioned event brought professional cowboys and cowgirls to Bunnell for two nights of action under the lights. Events on the card included bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, team roping, breakaway roping, steer wrestling and tie-down roping, with Big Water Pro Rodeo supplying the stock. Gates opened at 5 p.m. each night, with the rodeo getting underway at 7.
With a sellout on both nights and ideal weather, the fairgrounds was lively before and after the performances.

The rodeo season moves west next. The Sumter County PRCA Rodeo is set for Oct. 9–10 at 7:30 p.m., with individual tickets listed at $15.45. It takes place at the Sumter County Fairgrounds, 7620 SR 471 in Bushnell. sumterfair
